Im going to strip my 24 apart soon and give it a proper going over, and id like to start getting some trick bits together, ive seen some trick levers for nc30,s but................. are they the same? anyone know if the levers are the same on the nc24 and the nc30?
Also can anyone recomend some good brake pads?

Cheers lads

Regarding the pads, ive tried alot of manufacturers, i.e. Brembo, ferodo, ebc, OEM, armstrong. Personally, i like OEM, as they take ages to wear out, they give an even wear pattern, they dont eat discs, good stopping power and so on.
However, they aren't overly cheap, and they emmit a small screech when damp and breaking at low speed.

Thanks, i,ll stick with the standard pads then, and id love to find out the make of those trick levers! i,m considering putting some renthals and risers on, (as my bike is streefightered) i assume that the standard size of renthals will allow a massive choice or trick levers as ive seen some lovely pazzo levers! and nearly a bargain at £60 quid each!

@ the braided hoses....... yeah i cant wait to get some on! as mine has standard 22yr old rubber hoses ( EEEEEKKK!!!!) and as im gunna be ripping it apart i might even consider converting it to a single big disk with a modern caliper (blue dot R1 maybe?)...or maybe a cbr600 set up??? they seem to be pretty readily available (and cheap!) just have to get some adapter plates knocked up by an engineering shop.... but at the same time i,d love some upside down forks.....i owned a zxr400l about 5 years ago and the forks on that were amazing! and the brakes were as well! i had ebc prolites in it with carbon lorraine pads and could stoppie from about 70mph! (but that would be a big job!) so i reckon thats a no.

@ rich hemmings.... yeah mate, its an NC24 with a polished frame, top yolk, etc.... twin spots with a cool fly screen, stainless race can and link pipe, and its painted in ford st green, i do have some pics on my phone, but not to sure how to put them up if im honest! if someone gives me a heads up i,ll put some pics up :)

Id like to properly streetfighter it though, better brakes, better levers,(maybe some risers and renthals) tidy up the wiring, maybe an R6 or mito seat unit? and i have a mate with a nitrous kit going cheap! maybe i could get a cheeky 20bhp jet! and i reckon the exhaust would look pretty sick mounted low moto gp style! and ive also got a mate who is a car sprayer and he has some of that amazing chameleon paint left....just enough to do a bike!........................................................................................................................but im just playing with some ideas in my head at the moment, im going to budget about £150 a month from october for the rebuild and the first month will obviously be spent on the FU**ING collector box, but im not to fussed how long it takes as long as its done for next summer... i know it would be a lot cheaper to buy a nicely streetfighterd bike, but i dont want a typical bandit, or gsxr, ive not seen any nicely fightered vfr400,s anyway im waffleing on!

All sounds pretty cool!
Check out photobucket... you can host photos on there... there is an option to send them from your mobile, cant remember if it's via MMS or e-mail, but there is a way!
Easiest way would be to get em onto yer PC and then upload via the site... Once uploaded photbucket will gove you some [IMG] tags, which you can post on the forum.
Simples.
