If they are too long then they will come over the end of the plastic twist grip tube and drag on the bar itself causing the throttle to stick and not roll back freely..
just put it up against the throttle and see if it over hangs..

Thanks.
I just measured them and they are 27.5mm, so ill cut the end down alittle if needs be
Its just so annoying that people can't take a little bit extra time to get orders correct.
Also i was told the Hairspray method was good and to safty wire them with the copper in eletrical wire... Anyone done this?

Normal lockwire is fine, you can use prickstick, bostic but its not that nessasary.
I just use a bit of fairy to get it on then lockwire it.

ive found brake cleaner to be the best thing to get them on and off,
attach the straw to the nozzle, poke the straw between the grip and bar, spray a little in, grip will just slide off, clean bar with the brake cleaner, then spray a bit inside the actual grip and it just slides on. and because its brake cleaner, it just evaporates. so all is good. ive done that for roughly the last 5 sets ive changed, and had no problems.

GT85 Best stuff ever.. Has PTFE in it so helps them to slide off, afterwards you can just wipe the bars with some solvent to clean it off.
