Nearing the end of the rebuild and now have the swingarm and shock off the bike for cleaning and re greasing. The bikes a 1992 with the standard shock that looks to be in reasonable condition however as I'm presently weighing in at 15 and a half stone I suspected the standard shock with remote reservoir ain't gonna be happy! Not looking to spend a fortune and have read various posts re SP1, R6, GSXR750 and RS250 shocks.. What's the best set up on a budget for the rear end. Bikes gonna be a track and road bike but as a second bike I suspect tracK mostly. Also the shortened dog bones? Are they worth doing as a general mod? And can they be done on a diy basis? Any links on how to do it would be appreciated!!!as always thanks in advance for opinions and advice!!
