Float levels...

Hi All.
Still having some 'issues' with the nc24. When it runs its fine, but seems to have flooding issues if left standing, when I end up with a lot of petrol in the oil, which is not nice.
I'm in the process of ordering a vac tap repair kit from Dave Silver today.
Also, I've given the carbs another going over. Found 5 hole emulsion tubes in all carbs, so I've put four hole ones in the fronts. I'm soaking all bits in carb cleaner. The float bowl valves have been changed for new (NRP) I'm thinking the leaking fuel tap is overpowering the float valves
One thing I'm wondering about is checking/setting the float/fuel levels. How do you do this? any advice appreciated.

I don't think it would 'overpower' the float valves as many bikes disable the vaccumn tap and dont have problems. it sounds like one of your float valves isn't sealing correctly.

To set the float height start to turn the carbs upside down (with the bowls off) until the float drops into the bowl and the float pin is just resting, you don't want the springey pin to be compressed.

The measure from the bottom surface of the carb (where the rubber gasket goes) to the top of the float, it should be 6.8mm factory (adjust to suit bike)
