yes - it's one of things where I'm sure the ad is all right and proper you just need to see the engine in the frame to believe it. I know the 1000 can go into the frame with a lot of effort, cutting and strenghtening so maybe the end result isn't so pretty.

You can see that the front mounts have been fabricated. The 1000 motor does not fit between the standard front mounts.

I doubt it TBH
Bikes are a sum of their parts and design ... classic exaple is the first FireBlade it has an integrated designso the weight is in the right place etc. The R1 is the same but with the gearbox stacked it becomes a tighter package than the bikes before it ... but that's not all, the frame is shorter with a longer swingarm and the rider sits further forward as a result.
The 1000 engine in the 3TJ frame gives more power but also more weight the bike (apparently) wheelies to much, breaking the headrace bearings. The conversion itself requires the frame to be shaved in some areas to get the carbs and gear box in ... and it's hard to change plugs etc too.

Better off with a good 600 conversion
Did a R1 last night out testing t'cat carbs (lean idle/nice cruise/too rich up top)

never heard of a R1 engine in a fzr6 frame before but what frame did you use . . 3he or 4jh ?

sparkles he means he ripped an R1 while testing his hybrid.
