Hi lads, Anyone know if a ohlins spring will fit onto a Nitron shock? Bought a shock off nitron a few weeks ago for the rvf and its the wrong spring rate for my weight. They said they'd look after me etc But I need to get sorted quick with a track day looming. Don't want to risk shipping it from Ireland just incase. Local guy is really good and races a 400 himself but only deals in ohlins. Cheers.

What rate of Nitron spring do you need? I have one odd new one on the shelf, we might get lucky...

Hi Cheers for that. I have no idea what rate I need. If the Ohlins spring does not fit i'll get the rate I need off the mechanic and get striaght back to you. I've a list off stuff I need off your website to get this bike sorted for racing next year. As soon as I have the funds I'll be back to yea anyway.

Well found out an Ohlins spring does fit into a nitron shock. Got it back from the workshop today. The origional spring in the shock was 143Nm and is now 150Nm which is what it should of been all along. Can't belive Nitron got it this wrong? Should have it fitted by the weekend if I get some free time. Really looking forward to the next track day with the shock finially sorted and that new steering damper from Rick. Happy days.
