I remember a US site having a 'workshop' of members who got together and went through various jobs on their bikes. Seemed like a good idea.
Find a load of bikes that need the usual, fork seals, head bearings, etc etc and all sort them at the same time. You just need a good garage and a few tools.

Hi all
Sorry for delay in responding. Im in Brighton and need shims done and a new uprated clutch fitted. I have a someone local who can do it but he is not sure when. He should know next week, but if its to long i would prefer to look elsewhere to get back on the road sooner. Ideally if i could help someone do it so i could gain a bit of experience in doing the job myself in future that would be preferable if at all poss.

the clutch is easy, but you do need a special tool to take off the clutch nut. Other than that its just bolt on, bolt off job. A good haynes manual is invaluable

Tony Masters over at The Motorcycle Centre in Bolney is pretty good.
