Hi, just a quick one, i dont think my chain is too slack at the moment, but when i lift it up it hits the plastic runner under the swingarm? Is this right?

I dont fancy over tightening it, but when following the haynes manual for however many milllimeters slack it seems too tight.

Any one shed any light on this?

sit on the bike and check your chain tension from there.

it should not be slapping against the chain runner, but you should have enough movement that you can move it 20-25mm .

the chain should touch the chain slider...just!!!!!the manual states between 15-25mm like monkey says and always check it with someone on the bike... :D :D :D
a good tip is check different parts of the chain as the chain can have tight spots :D :D
