NC23 Carb cleaning

OK so my bike has a stutter when opening the throttle so I think that I need to clean the carbs. I have never done this before, I was planing to do it one carb at a time to avoid mixing parts, cleaning the small parts in a small ultrasonic bath I have and scrubbing the body with cleaner. Is there anything I should look out for in terms of worn parts? And does anyone know what the standard jet sizes should be? The bike has got difficult to start since the weather has warmed up, and there is often a smell of petrol when idling so I am convinced it is running rich.

Any tips would be appreciated.

let people know what model you have r, k etc as the jet sizes vary a tad.
are you runing normal jets?
there are vids on google on how to do it, but its spretty simple anyhow - dont mix parts up, get strawberry punnets or something.
