Anyone here painted the mirrors on there nc30 white as per the ones on the bigger RC30 ?? think it looks wel smart on the bigger bike and feel sure it would look just as good on he nc30, anyone done it ?? any pics ??

Two friends have done that, painted the mirrors on a UK model, and this import has RC mirrors fitted, but the mounting holes are different.

James, you really need to paint those wheels white mate, its just wrong in black.

No point, I got knocked off 18 months ago! My lovely clean unspoiled fairing is held together with 'fragile tape! look rather sorry for it's self!
Still went throught the MOT twice!

Right this thread got me thinking, just been out to the garage and found my old pair of scruffy RC30 white mirrors.
anyway used a dremmel to remove the furthest forward stud and smooth, then used a 3mm drill bit and bored a new hole in the correct place in the material in the mirror mount. i drilled around 8mm deep.
Offered it up to the nosecone and mount, used the normal 10mm nut for the closest stud, then used a 25mm self tapper to secure the rear by screwing into the mirror pilot hole i just made.
works a treat, white mirrors same as UK spec, higher than standard jap mirrors so you can actually see behind you as any UK NC30 owner will confirm.

so silvers have a couple of pairs left if your quick, or matey on ebay has a pair for 99 quid buy it now

are UK and jap NC30 mirrors the same stud spacing?

yes but uk spec mirrors are rarer than flatside carbs
