RVF Race Wiring harness

Hi all,
does anyone have a wiring diagram for converting an NC35 to race? I'd like to keep the starter and charging circuit (at least for the time being) but ditch the lights, fan, side stand etc.
Sorry if this info's already been posted I did do a search .... even if it was pretty feeble.
TIA
Jimmy

I have searched too,I know I found it ages ago,but just can't seem to find it again.
Could someone provide a link to the thread please?

What's the story with the diode connected to the neutral, clutch switch and Cdi?
I'm running total loss and not worried about the neutral light or clutch switch.
The clutch switch is easy, just jump it to gnd.
Can I just connect the neutral switch to ground and junk the neutral light?
Does the diode need to be energised from the neutral light side to complete the cct?

I think the diode has something to do with stopping you starting the bike in gear without the clutch although cant be sure. I never had one fitted on my race loom for my 35, cant see why you'd need it on a race loom.

I just want to get rid of the diode too.
Can I just ground the corresponding light green wire from the Cdi or is it dependent on a sense current,as such, from the diode?

Why do you want to get rid of it? It's not very heavy
I copy this from another forum.
KISS - the proper working allows the bike to be started in gear when the clutch is pulled in (sidestand up). When it fails, the bike can only be started in neutral. On some bikes, when you pull in the clutch with a failed diode it will show the neutral light coming on even if you aren't in neutral.
It is merely another safety device to protect us from ourselves.
By the way, a diode is simply an electronic device that allows electrical current to flow in one direction and not the other. Because of the convoluted wiring scheme necessary to prevent/allow the starter to function depending upon whether the side stand is up or down, whether the bike is in neutral or not, and depending upong whether the clutch is pulled in or not, a diode or two or three was installed to keep things relatively simple wiring-wise. Otherwise, we'd be dealing with a bunch of interconnected relays or some such arrangement. Generally diodes are pretty reliable. If one ever needs replacing, I'd shop around for a higher capacity diode as a replacement.

Sorted.
I can get rid of the diode, and all associated safety devices by grounding the
red and green wire from the starter relay.
And the light green wire from the cdi.

If you ground the red starter relay wire expect sparks! It's the main loom positive from the battery.
Removing the diode and all safety system wiring is very simple when you have the loom unwrapped.
