18 inch wheel on an NC35

I have very little clearance between the chain and the tyre ( a 160- the shop made a mistake).

Has anyone experience of this? Will the chain hit the tyre at speed?

It's a trackday bike, not road legal and I have no way of testing it away from the race track.

How do they make that mistake? :o

Sure its an 18"? RVF is standard at 17" although people do flog off the std wheel for the 18" VFR wheel. Didnt know you could get 160/18 profiles?? :?

I didn't realise that the back wheel was an 18inch and had them order up a 150 Pirelli dragon for the (supposed)17 inch wheel. I didn't check the wheel size!
The tyre on the bike was a 160 on an 18 inch which the shop replicated when they found out it was an 18. I was so pissed off with the back wheel and the bike by this stage that when they gave me the wheel back I just stuck it back on.

It's been a long project this bike. Every attempted step forward has involved three steps backward first.
