Probably a stupid question, but here goes.....

Just bought myself an NC30 and the speedo is the original KPH one with a sticker over the top saying MPH. Not the normal sticker with the MPH numbers on it, litterally a small square over the KPH letters on the right of the dial saying MPH. Thing is it has also got a mecahnical KPH to MPH adapter fitted at the back of the speedo. I found a pic of what it looks like here http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s66/ ... 501839.jpg

My question is that even with this adapter fitted will i still need a new sticker for the clocks so the speed reads correctly in MPH? Or does this convertor change the reading so a new face or overlay is not needed and the speedo now reads in MPH?

I know that is probably a stupid question but the more i think about it the more i get confused!!

The convertor 'converts' the reading to now be correct as per the dial. Not a stupid question. The overlay stickers just mean you don't need to fork out for the convertor.
Good choice made on the 30 though!

The only thing with these is that your mileage on the odometer wont be accurate anymore as X amount of distance will have been recorded in KM and the rest in Miles, so if it says 30,000KM on the odometer it could actually be 45k etc etc.
