I went on a long run on the 916 with a tank bag, never again............... nearly killed myself, totally gets in the way.

How come?
Tbh my rucksack was a bigger danger. I've never ridden with one that size before. I've used the tank at though with no problems? Just can't tuck in or hang off

When riding the 916 hard, you have to lean into the tank to keep the front planted and hang off a bit, the tank bag stopped you from doing this so you were too upright and it also impeded your arms when hanging. Ended up on the wrong side of the road on left handers several times as I couldn't get it to turn properly......... well scary....... tank bag gone, tail pack purchased, high speed cornering with luggage no longer Russian Roulette............
Of course, I could have ridden slower, but, what's the point of owning a 916 then........... ?

Loaded up this much the 30 felt horrible. No confidence in corners. Squatted when leant over (I didn't alter the suspension) and week/wobbly under brakes
