				As far as I know it all plugs in. 
I'd use a 600R loom and CDI so you won't get a problem with the throttle sensor. You will probably have to bridge the fuel level sender.

				Not heard of that one.......
Didn't really want to have to get cat clocks as its a track bike, although if i do a find a cheap set it may be worth getting them (only want the tacho.....)
Ayone else confirm if there is a need to get cat clocks for the tps to work properly?

				Your right, i'm really not bothered about the tps, but it seems that cat ecu's are both easier to find, and more importantly cheaper!
I'll keep looking for a foxeye loom/ecu but if it comes down to money and availability then i'll be going down the cat route  
Still need to budget for coils, downpipes and airbox as well!

I've had a good read of all the stuff in this thread and engine alignment/mounting is still a bit of a headache for me.
I know the rear mounts are identical and will mean the engine should sit in the frame and allow for correct sprocket alignment. I'm still not clear on what needs to be done with the head moutings?
The 400 engine has two round spacers on the right hand side (collars that slide into the mounts) so i can see how the adapter plate works on the right, you just remove them and the plate takes up the space. Thing is, if the 400 engine mounts flush on the left , how does the adapter plate work as there isnt any room?

				Now i'm really lost!
As i still have both the 4 and the T'cat motors, i've done some measuring - and discovered that there is a difference in the relative postiions of the rear engine mounts and the sprockets. This means that when i bolt the engine in the frame the sprockets are going to be out of line - argghhhhhh!!!!
I'm begining to loose the will to live with this "straight" swap.............

				The bottom end is the same, should bolt straight in .... maybe you missed a spacer in your measurements ???

				I've been assured that once i have the engine in the frame it will line up and everything will be tickety-boo......
Proof will be in the pudding  
 
Got another question though.......  I don't want to bother with an ignition switch for track use, i've got the wiring diagram for the T'cat (using the whole loom for the hybrid) but i'm not very electrically minded so how do i go about adding in a simple on/off rocker switch in place of the ignition barrel?
