Thank you. I will try and do my best..... haha.... If I can I would do Pre-preg parts for all of my products.. It is a lovely material to work with and best of all no smells or resin sticking to everything... The only down side is it is not as glossy as the cheaper wet lay stuff.

Personally I wouldn't worry about how glossy it is, it can always be laquered

True.. It just adds cost or work to keep those who want glossy polished parts.. I personally prefer the dry Moto GP - F1 look as it is pure and not trying to be anything other than light weight and strong.

Update from today...
I have covered the release agent covered wax with the first layer of gel coat so tomorrow I can add one more layer and then start adding material to make the mould.. I hope to have this initial mould done for Wednesday and fine tune it ready to make a production mould for next week and start the opposite side late this week too...

OK..
Honda NC update too...
Those who asked about Honda NC30/35 parts.. I have a swing arm and have wax covered it ready for release agents to be applied and hope to start making this mould later this week.. I just need to sort out the frame covers but need some space first.... I am over run with frames and swing arms... haha..

Another update...

I have to finish polishing the right hand swing arm cover as I had to make a new mould because the other one still had the dent showing.. I will have that done this afternoon...

The frame covers are still a good way off but I have done the initial mould for my master part today and it still needs some work but I think I could make a master from it by the weekend.

As you can see I have gone for a full coverage frame protector. I can cut them down later if needed so it was easier to mould the whole thing and figure it out later. Easier to remove material than add it later.... lol

The Right hand side is now covered in wax ready for the PVA release to be applied. Just need about 6 or 7 coats of PVA before I apply resin.

Sorry guys...... Had some paid work to do.... Evil Chicken had me do a batch of heat shields for his Bimota mates then they all wanted Frame protectors but paid to have moulds made ect..... So it pushed this a bit further back..

Plus Levo was supposed to polish the moulds up for me to help out... he went AWOL... something about work??

Anyway... Levo came over and did the polishing for me yesterday....
He also came trying to nab other bits I had made.... Haha...
Levo trying to convince me this hugger had always been on his bike...

Was the first time I have seen a Factory WSB Yamaha R1 hugger on a 400!

So yes blame Evilchicken and his evil mates for my delays... But I have to admit the parts did look lovely...

I have almost done the full order for them now... SO I will be back on the FZR stuff now... Have one more frame protector going in the mould tomorrow but it will be ALL carbon not a Carbon Kevlar one..
