NSR500V fairings first mock-up. Lower part needs some butchering for a proper fit, since an RVF is quite a bit fatter down low compared to the GP500 racer. No disaster, however, just cut it in half, then add some along the bottom. Also the position of the fairing on the bike in these first pics is not 100% correct, just a quick try-on.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I am a bit preoccupied right now, as my very first 125GP class race is due in a little less than a month, but the RVF build is coming along nicely! Today I have begun putting the NSR lower fairing together into one piece again, after adding some underside width in a sort of wedge shape after cutting it in half. Also I am incorporating a lower radiator duct for the passing air to escape through. This part will then be used as the plug for the mould for the real lower fairing part. Happy days...

The NSR500 upper fairing can thankfully be left all standard.

You seem to be missing a few engine internals

Looks really good though

How does the water-pump cover stay in?

Next time I strip the 24 down i'll show you the K7 rotor conversion I made.. I didn't need to put screws through the outside of the genny casing, which I think looks more tidy.
