Took my UK bike over to wales to store it long term today, and rode project exon valdez back in prep to sell.
i forgot how good this bike is to actually ride.
it was parked up in sept 09 over in wales, and it fired within 10 seconds today, no charger, fuel was left to run out before i parked it so after a few seconds cranking it fired into life - just superb.
anyway i rode it back and compared to the UK bike i rode the other way, this is much firmer and more confident in bends and direction changes, feels a toughter bike over all.
brakes are a bit sharper on the UK bike and clutch is lighter and smoother etc etc but this project bike pulls like the clappers and fuels so nicely. it and the UK bike are much nicer to ride than the RVF

So after a quick scrub up once i got it home, it goes for another MOT (yes its been a year since i built this) this week, 12 months road tax and it will be sold in spring if anyones looking for a well sorted NC30 for around £1500 depending on the spec.

passed its MOT yesterday and then i taxed it online, so essentially 12 months tax and test, ready to ride away.

Depending on the spec, i want £1500 for it as is, no mucking around or tyre kicking, and it will be left with the maxton rear shock, hyperpro forks, scottoiler and yamamoto exhaust.
i can reduce the price a bit if you wanted it with standard forks, shock and pipe.

it will be on pistonheads soon once i get some pics of it with its clothes off to show the clear radaitors and the likes to prove its not a scrapper.

as for mileage, well its second MOT it shows 400kms now (first one it had 21kms) but the engine had done more like 22k (well that what was on the original donor bike speedo) but it runs like a dream.

have a think and if you want it PM or mail me. Its now located near chester in the northwest, but its ready to ride away

If I hadn't got so many projects on the go I would have had that.

Tempting though it is I have the 35 on the go and need to concentrate on one at a time. If only this had come up in 3 months time.
