I'm pretty sure that my nc30 makes more power at the rear wheel than it does at the crank.

Re: My NC30 Dyno Results.
None taken my good man. The conversion I got was from the old Google thingy. I got fed up reading and posting in here so decided to come over to Devon/Corwall for a few days to visit some friends, sure at the end of the day what do I/we know about tuning, none of us have back-garden dynos... All the dyno's we bring our bikes to use must over-read and massage our ego's or maybe the dyno operators are using the +10 rule ie Whatever the BHP really is, it gets and extra 10 added to it.CMSMJ1 wrote:The people won't have to go and make up a correction figure, or adopt one that Viper offered (no dig G
It's a shame I'm so far away from where this dyno day is taking place as I'd have liked to have gone to see what my bike is putting out but I'll get the fueling sorted out over here and see what's best for the bike. In the perfect world, I'd have had my bike with me this weekend and handed it to Mr A'Lee as he'd be the best person to set-up my wee bike to get the best from it.

Re: My NC30 Dyno Results.
some people just dont read things !!
you can only get a exact crank hp reading if you put it on a engine dyno , you can only estimate a crank figure from RWHP , i personally use 11% as a guide .
it was 55bhp when i first got the bike . it now makes consistant runs of 59/60 depending on the day, with a best ever run of 61 .all runs in DIN700200 with DJHP (dyno jet horse power)Correction applied.especially if Kev's moto gets 55bhp and has been fettled by a dyno operator himself...!

That's a pretty healthy output Kev.kevprojex wrote: it was 55bhp when i first got the bike . it now makes consistant runs of 59/60 depending on the day, with a best ever run of 61 .all runs in DIN700200 with DJHP (dyno jet horse power)Correction applied.
It would suggest that Hamster's bike is indeed down on power if the same dyno and settings were used.
