Pipes are loosely fitted up, just have to bust out the Stanley knife to modify the seat unit to clear the can hanger. Then I'll be looking to do the jetting and spray up the tail unit I got off DM (epic top guy, was a pleasure to meet him and do a swap with)

Started spraying my single seat unit today, wants flatting back, another couple of coats of paint and then some clearcoat before it goes on.

Carbon hopefully arriving tomorrow :D made some satin black number boards for the seat unit, once it's fully lacquered I'll put them on. More to keep me occupied and get rid of a few offcuts I had knocking about, designed and cut the templates by hand so not expecting the most perfect job!

Scrapped the idea of number boards, got it 3/4 the way on and it all bunched up will instead spray them on if I bother.

Also ordered some titanium bits....

When vinyl gets scrunched up heat it lightly with a heat gun/hair dryer and the creases are pulled out. I found it works really well!

Number boards are a b*stard of a job. Did my nc30 track seat unit, I didnt have the option of trimming it either as the black edge was part of the white number board.


Its the compound curves of the seat unit make it hard. I used the bottom edge to line it up, try and find the centre point and work my way outwards.

Spray bottle of only very slightly soapy water, a hairdrier and credit card are the weapons of choice for me.
