Wow. I haven't seen that bike for a couple of years or so. Looks like the frame could do with a polish top-up though. I recall that John (the chap I sold the bike too) had got the suspension Maxton'ed, but that's about it - looks like he's added some Pirellis and 1000 miles by the looks of things:



I wonder how much it would go for. I wouldn't call it 'mint' condition although it was rather tidy. Strange, as I had been contemplating buying another RVF recently...

The dash is made by Translogic Raz, one of their older models. It's not a direct easy-plug-and-play-fit, but did work out once I'd sorted a reliable trace for the rev counter. Everything else, idiot lights, speedo sensor, etc, were easier to fathom.

That is a nice example RVF, so are you perhaps tempted to buy it back, Craig?

I don't know, in a way I am tempted as I'm considering putting my 600 on the market. Although I am thinking of getting a more laid back/upright bike as its replacement. Looks like the RVF needs a little spruce, it doesn't appear as sparkly as I left it, and I have learned a few more lessons in the art of tidying bikes up since I sold it a few years ago.

Soon, although the usual meet up points for SCBC seem to be mid week and some distance west from me. I'll keep an eye on the forum to see if you're ever heading out en mass at the weekend.

Took the NC out for a quick 20 mile jaunt, everything feels as if it still needs bedding in somewhat (it's probably just me that needs the bedding in), but I'd rather do these kinda local shakedown rides to make sure everything's okay, despite the MOT, before venturing further afield. I think the sight of the thing, plus /that/ noise, bought a tear to me eye.

Although naturally, I blame my hay fever, of course...

I used them too, should be here tomorrow (cough, cough, day off work perhaps!?). They didn't have the KE100 haynes in stock so it's taking a little while.
