It's been a while huh.
I got the "Taper Changer" back from BDK which although it looks simple enough is difficult to turn on a lathe due to the thinkness of metal. If you vary the thickness by 1mm the flywheel moves in by 5mm and that's crucial to the pickup being fired.
That in turn caused the first one to break when the woodruff keyway was cut.
So the damage ... wel £90 for taper changer, £20 for the keyway .... and 9 weeks to do it
They said they can do it again but they do have an unhurried reputation.
If you're going to do the conversion then measure up the flywheel position relative to the crankcases first. I'd guess a CNC lathe should be able to replicate these but holding the piece is the difficult bit.
