Just make sure the bottons don't get seized up with all that paint on. You might want to thread a bolt through the holes whack a washer and nut on and give them a turn to free them up.

Yeah pfm's are iron, but so are the pro-lite's

I'm lead to believe that the difference In the two types of pro-lites is the gold road version has les iron and more chrome than the blue race version which have a high iron content.

Both iron and steel have their pro's and con's.
Iron gives so much more friction but this means a higher wear rate and irons are more prone to warping.
steels look pretty and don't need as much care or maintenance, but with less ffriction or feel.

Ps. Mine are the blue race version that I have painted gold to suit my special build.

air tubes are coming into work tomorrow to get rubbed down and prepared for spraying, rear manifold will be coming in on Fri for the same treatment - Saturday should see both painted and Sunday should have the air tubes lacquered.

Monday i will see about getting the sub-frame stripped and hopefully get it into work on Tue for prepping.
maybe some pics of the above on Mon/Tue.
