Re: my nsr 250 sp
yes it will be getting a normal fibre glass seat for racing, the carbon seat was specially made by speedfiber in spain
for a price of course, but we dont mention that
its the same company that supplies the gp teams though, thats how i justify it

aye there a work of art those seat units, i keep eyeing them up for a NC project, i'll settle for glass fiber tho.
Did you have to deal direct with them or through a stockist

Re: my nsr 250 sp
through ian emberton,he's the uk speedfiber agent and all round good egg
it came about by a normal conversation as i was getting the speedfiber fairing/screen and seat off him.he mentioned carbon and i started rubbing my hands
the carbon seats usually come coated and ready for paint,i said theres no point having a carbon seat if you cant see the carbon
he agreed and rung them and they said making it would be no trouble as thats what they sent the hrc teams for pr season
i ordered it there and then, the quality is amazing,i wanted to hang it on the wall instead of putting it on the bike

Re: my nsr 250 sp
yes theres probably a few knocking around the race team garages,i nearly got me hands on a proper burning blood carbon seat a while ago,but the bloke was being a proper nob on getting a realistic price
but i may have tracked down another
