It's far too noisy. Can you imagine how annoying it would get on a ride out to RAF Cosford?!

Anyway - Today I'm going to do a minor service on the VFR. Oil and filter, re-lube airfilter, check plugs. It would be rude not to with a track day only a few weeks away.

Annoying for you anyway. At least I'd be able to hear where you are!

Gave the bike a thorough check over today, no nasties and I'm certain it'll fly through the MOT once I get a standard size registration plate.
Dropped the oil out and replaced the filter (Hein Gericke semi synth oil + free filter for £22.99 = bargain) and topped the coolant up.
Made a 'baffle' for the Tyga exhaust which seems to work pretty well, It's only going to be fitted to help pass the MOT and I will take it along with me to track days in case its +105db without the baffle fitted. It's restricting the gas flow by quite a lot so I would think it's going to kill my ponies but like I said it's a 'just in case' measure only.

Anyway, pics speak a thousand words and all that so here's how she stands after today (except it's wearing a clear DB screen and alcantara seat):

Forgot to mention - the bodywork is my other set which shall be used for track days, though't I'd mention it before you asked why the indicators and tank do not match the colour scheme.

That baffle you've made, how long is it? or is it just as thick as we can see in the pic? A baffle I had once was about 8" long and had a perforated tube to help reduce the sound level.

Good work on hiding the bolt inside rather than drilling though the endcap too!
