Kris, i did a post about these a couple of months ago.
in short, NO, you need to grind off one of the studs, then drill a pilot hole into the mirror body, and either tap a new hole, JBweld a stud in there, or use a self tapper (what i did) from the cockpit area.
however you can see behind you now using RC mirrors and they look a bit cooler in white

Yeah i thought they were different fixings, look much better, might try it but 120 quid for mirrors, they might have to wait a bit!!

very nice paul, i'm only a tiny wee bit jealous as my 2+ year project is still on going and yours has ended in less than a year .... :peace:
