Can you be more specific in the description of the new "jamming" problem. Last time I thought you said it was slipping, if so then this is a different problem.

Fortuantly there are only a few earths!

The one you can see when you take the left hand mid-panel off by the switch gear blocks would be my first point of investigation.

You didn't fix it or its another problem.

It's easy to blame the previous owner for breaking everything but you don't yet seem to have the skill and knowledge to fix the bike properly by yourself.

Get somebody who is experienced and knows these bikes well to go through the bike with you, isolate and fix all the problems with you helping and watching and you'll learn something and have the bike fixed.

At the moment your clutching at straws.

People are trying to help but can only go off what you say, you might be missing something fairly obvious to say.

Saying that I changed the clutch it should work now, why!? Isn't the right approach.

Follow the Honda manual's starting 'troubleshooting section' and test everything it says how it says so.. it's most likely you'll find the issue.

i didnt change the clutch, i changed the starter clutch, i thought they where completely different. and as soon as i did change it. the problem was fixed and the engine spun freely. but before hand. it would jam. and click and make clonking noises..... but now they are coming back.... it has to be the starter clutch again.

Did you resolve the loose pickup problem, they need to be secure before trying to run the engine.

Get a video with sound it will be of more use that a written discription of whats happening.

Video - it may have killed the radio store, but it may save your bike.

Seriously though, we need a video.

:plus: everybody on here is allot of help but out of experience written descriptions may be inaccurate sometimes not that you don't know but there might be something that you missed but the greater 400gb would pick up on

I would really get a guru that on 400gb thats close to you to help so start :Ass:

okay here is the video of my problem..... as you can it is jamming.... near the end of the video it startrs to spin again, but it sounded like the battery had drained.... well it hasnt. i checked the battery voltage and it had shot up to 16.84v...... i waited about a minute and tried again and it started instantly.. however i do not have this on video as i got pissed off and turned it off.

Whilst I can't particularly help with your problem, I do notice you get short tempered! Stuff like turning the key on/off and stamping on gear change lever will never help, only exacerbate things. Everyone knows when you work on one of these bikes you take your time and do so methodically, if you get stressed then take 10 minutes to make a brew or tidy the garage.

Now. Does it bump start every time successfully? If you can bump it and fire it up, and every now and then it fires on the button, it points to a problem with either starter or starter clutch. Someone more knowledgable will be along shortly I'm sure, but have you tested the starter motor off the bike?
