They dont' auto-adjust or anything.
You screw them in and thats it.
However you have the wrong bolts and things in it.

Re: xivlia's thread of nc30 problems and questions
those were the bolts that were in it initially. like i said, the presvious owner really did fuck my bike up. which doesnt help me in anyway when it comes to fixing this bike up.
one more thing. i did manage to fix the running shit issue. used new oil. and my front plugs were not tightly screwed in. so after that, there isnt any problems, its running really well now. but one thing that happend today. is that the starter clutch JAMMED again!!! i fixed this fucking problem when i installed my new starter clutch that i bought from Mo.. i think thats who i bought it from. but anyhow.. it was FIXED, i dont know why its jamming on me again.....

I'd be annoyed too!
Tbh, I'd look at getting a new engine for it if I were you, and while your changing the engine, completely strip the entire bike with someone knowledgeable to help you. Clean the lot up and assess what you've got, its clearly got alot of gremlins.
Just my thoughts.....

Re: xivlia's thread of nc30 problems and questions
If it makes you feel any better, I took my track bike around the block tonight to see what was what. Well, I ended up pushing it back home. It made it about a mile before it quit. Same as before, the temp gauge pinned to the right. Must be a grounding issue. I also couldn't get it started so swapped out the rear two plugs (the were soaked) and hoped the front two would fire. Well, they didn't (the headers were cold to the touch) so I guess tomorrow I will swap out the front two as well. Just got to figure out why it quits running...
