In order to clear some room in the shed and 'moth-ball' the 29, I decided to put it together.

Keeping in mind that these horrible smurf fairings are not staying on the bike, I will replace them eventually.

Front guards on now and the electrics are sitting where they should. I figure I can splice and solder etc with them in place which will be a lot easier then removing and reinstalling the loom again.

My stainless steel exhaust studs and copper crush exhaust gaskets arrived in the post, so I installed the exhaust. I actually felt quite chuffed after installing the exhaust, so I then installed the radiator as well!!

Rear fairings are on, I put the nose cone on and even decided to put the mirrors on too to make it look complete again.

And this is how she'll look while she is 'Moth-balled' for a month or so....

Not sure sorry? Is not to my liking and will be removed when I respray the tank. It's huge! Looks like a giant black fanny pad!!

Hi Gimly56
Don't lose hope like I have ,my bikes been sitting there for the last 6 months and all I do is buy new bits for it as finances allow and for when I get motivated enough to finish it off

If you ever get it down to manfield and on the track It would be cool to see another nc29

Jamie

Nice one Jamie
Let's shame him into getting it sorted instead of taking the easy option and parking it up and leaving it to rot ;)

Thanks guys.

I haven't completely lost hope Jamie......I contemplated selling the 29 at one point and keeping my 23 but I just love the shape of the gullwing model and can't bring myself to sell it.

I WILL finish it.....eventually. ;)
