Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
Ersan - note the repeating key words here " A good fitting screwdriver" (or impact driver bit). Make sure the slot is cleaned out so your "good fitting screwdridver" can get maximum purchase and give it a 3 shredded wheat twist and it should break the sticktion and once it has - it will unscrew easy enough.
If you go down the impact driver route - same thing applies. Use "a well fitting bit", make sure the caliper is well secured and a single sharp tap should crack it off and allow you to unscrew it. If you find yourself battering it repeatedly - you are doing it wrong.
Come on Tiger, prove the doubters wrong and do a proper job on that caliper

Two each of these:

Yes, they'll cost you twice as much, and the post isn't free, but unless you trust the seller implicitly that they're not selling cheap Chinese copies and have something decent, frankly for an extra tenner I'd not bother taking the risk. Rick Oliver does aftermarket plugs, pins, pistons and seals, so if you want cheaper copies rather than OE stuff, I'd be more inclined to trust him than some random shop on eBay. Not that I'm suggesting anything untoward about them, it's just that I'm fussy like that... lol

Does it matter in this case?bikemonkey wrote:I buy OEM ones from david silver, don't fancy trusting eBay stuff on something like brakes.....
He doesn't use the rear brake anyway

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
Ummmmm, no.
It probably won't be as good quality rubber and not a perfect fit.
Fit OEM and you won't have to do it again for a long time.
