Anyone know of some slicks or wets suitable for the 18" rear?

How much is the going rate for a new pair of '30 bt 90 or 92s fitted?
I'll be needing some shortly.

I have had a price of 200 fitted/balanced to loose wheels.

Thats not a bad price, you can get them cheaper mail order but then you got to and balance them so unless you have the kit you gota ask a tyre fitter to do it and from experience most places dont like fitting tyres they havent supplied so whack the price up.

For the road I have heard good things about the Bridgestone S10 or Michelin Power One.

Can anybody shed any light on this Maxxis for the nc30?

Currently rocking '92s front and rear but my front is 500 miles or so from needing changing.

Seen this on ebay, surely running this and my 92 rear will be fine?

I have noticed its W rated, but W lists "up to 168MPH" so it can't be meant for anything bigger than a 600 ish, and it is listed under NC30..

I have a NC30 1992 on bridgestones... what is a good track tyre pressure (are road and track pressures different? I know from cars that track pressures tend to be slightly higher than road... although it also depends a bit on the kind of tyre)

Just thought I would add to this thread. I picked up some Michelin power pure tyres over the weekend, initially feeling very good, much more "feel" than the bt021 i had on previously. front end feels a lot more direct and positive done about 80 miles on them so far so they are scarcely scrubbed in.

I'll update again after a couple of months of decent riding / a track day

33/33 for the road and around 30/29 for the track - don't go higher for the track..oh no..

Looking at ordering tires soon, I noticed Michelin now has the Pilot Power 3. The rear is available in 160/60-17, and the front in either 120/60-17 or 120/70-17. I have my forks off anyway for freshening up and re-springing so it wouldn't be a bother to hike them up in the clamps to compensate for the taller 70 profile, I'm just wondering which one to get. Is there any singnificant handling difference between those two size fronts on an NC35?
