sub frame is back from the coaters and the undertray and frame is back on the bike, battery went in and the loom connected up , key in and.......nothing ,
hmmm flat battery, so as it was late by now i brought it in for a charge up , following morning back on the bike still no power , as i pulled the loom apart and re taped it , im thinking shit ive messed it up , so a quick re check over all connectors and boosh we have power :peace:
next job fresh oil and filter - done
fresh coolant - done
forks back out and rick oliver spring kit and oil in - done (feels much better)
old tank on the bike time to start her up , she runs , bit lumpy , revs hang  so off came the carbs for another check over ,shit the tickover cable snapped at the screw end as i pulled the carbs out, (forgot to disconnect the adjuster from the frame clip ) new one sourced and on its way, phew

re-set the pilots to 2.25 turns out as they were a bit over that, and rechecked the sync using the drill bit method, they were out also by a tad, as the carb rubbers were warmed up a bit they sat back down a bit better so they must of not been seated very well first time around,
little m4 bolt in place of the tickover adjuster and fired up , a lot better than before but still room for improvement

the sound of the pipes is fantastic and have to be heard in the flesh really.....

i havnt 100% decided on a scheme as yet rohry, but it will be an 8hr endurance type scheme (as tony has ditched the am-pm rep im tempted to go for that), the main bodywork will be wrapped in gloss white at a fraction of the cost of a full on paint job as my mate owns http://protintuk.co.uk/prowrapuk.html so will just charge me for the materials used,
i thought id go for the wrap as if i dont like the end result the wrap will come off with a heat gun and a tug, i was looking at a satin white carbon wrap but he talked me out of it as the white carbon holds the dirt in the weave and can look grubby over time, (another option was the chrome wrap like the suzuki gp bike from a few races ago, but a bit bling for me i think :scare:
its still an elite club of a few with the TSR's though pal and i dont think there are any in a 50mile radius of me down here near bath :weed:

Feel free to do the am-pm rep. ive got all the artwork on file for the decals if you want them.

Im not sure on the vinyl wrap, the only one i saw didnt look that glossy, nowhere near as good as paint. ive only seen the one tho so theres most likely better finishes out there, you'd also have to lay the decals over the top and not be able to lacquer over them
