Personally I don't like those. I'd rather pay for the R&G ones that go lower through the holes in the lowers. They're the expensive ones that have the bar all the way through.

(I'm pretty sure these don't require drilling?!

I was advised that a fall would crack the fairing, not sure if the lower part of the belly pan would be saved.
I took them off, you can have them if you still want them.

WIN!!! if i can get r&g that dont need cutting .
cheers guys, i thought the same, the cheap ones look way too far up the bike!? i dont mind forking out bigger penies for r&g tbh, compared to the cost of new plastics and paint.
im sure iv seen a few diff types if thats the case , some R&G that deffo need cutting, others that folk say dont!? think ill have to call them direct for answers.
thanks for replies fellas.

I use the ones from Matt's post. R&G non-drill bungs. Proper solid too, you could pick the bike off the ground with those buggers.

music to my ears mate!! looks like those are the ones for me. so do they just stick through the holes already in the pannels? i take it the pannels come off to fit the rod, then the bugs can be fitted once the pannels go back on.
cheers boys. i hate cutting my pretty pannels

Nah you get 2 alloy plates that attach to a part of the frame, and a bar that goes through the middle which holds the bungs in place. The kit comes with some pretty comprehensive instructions.
