Cheers guys! Project's on the back burner as usual, but I've finally started adapting the works RS250 axle to fit the bike. An SKF IR45x50x35 inner bearing race is ordered, and I've machined the missing big nut and spacer for the wheel side.

Soon we'll have better weather, and I can seriously start shaping the bodywork in the sun 8-) bit messy job inside my shed.

Now finally fitted the RS250 works axle. It's a beautiful piece, and weighs in at 895 g bare, the stocker is 1925 g. Now who wants to donate a Marvic Penta 17" RC30 5.5" wheel for my bike?

Next thing to do is less glamorous - polyester shaping of bodywork plugs, hmmmm...

Balls to that. Bikes are for go, not for show.

Gorgeous bike with no expense spared.

After countless hours of shaping, and many many more to come, here's the current status of the tank dummy/seat unit.

Nice work! Looks sweet. Liking your style :peace:

What materials did you build the plug out of? Polyurethane and filler?

Very, very nice!

I think you need to edit the thread topic to something that's more appreciative of you work.
