Re: Rhory's rides and projects .
well the bodywork came back for the CBR400RR last week and i had time to fit it but not time to update this, so here's some quick pictures before i go back to the first page and update the specs and add images.

apart from a bloody got polish and a few bolts and screws there is very little else i want to do to this bike now.i think it would be safe to say it's "finished" .
i've a few things i want to do to the Castrol VFR400R and the grey/black VFR400R which are to do with Graeme France and motors but apart from that they too are close to being how i want them which only leaves this one left.

it's currently being used every day and a daily driver so i dont want it too modified, maybe just an endcan, but it's running sweet as a nut and thats how i want it to stay.
hope you guys like the updates.

Re: Rhory's rides and projects .
Here's a small update to keep interested parties happy.
The red/black type 5 grey/black VFR400R got a little time recently. The forks were slightly pitted so I removed them and sent them to Graeme France for a propery 5* experience. New stantions, replaced ( standard ) internals, powdercoated lowers and new oil/seals/bushes etc etc, and when they returned they were simply fantastic with a quality ride on the road. Another thing I did was get a lot of bolts zinc plated, disc, caliper, axle pinch etc and the difference that's made is shocking. A definite if your spending money to make things look like new.
I also picked up a solo seat cowl from a forum member. It came black so all I did was raid the garage for any red paint I had so I could fill in the number boards. 30 minutes and a fast polish later and that was it sorted. Not a high quality job but enough to see me through until I can get a bodykit plastic repaired and repainted in type 5 colours.
Unfortunately the type 4 VFR400R, the CBR400RR and the Castrol VFR400R haven't been doing much recently. I don't have plans for the first two other than I clean and polish but I have a small job for the Castrol bike. Nothing exciting but just a hydraulic clutch conversion. I have a firestorm master cylinder, a VFR400 NC21 sprocket cover and a shorted VFR750F clutch push rod. All that's needed now is a braided line..... And when I get one of those is anyone's guess !
Im in a funny position now but, I have 2 'big' jobs I want to do and they are build these 2 motors I've had sitting for the last 2 years. I've I'm going to do them but I want to do them right and that means work by Graeme France but that's a lot of money to spend just to fit them to the grey/black type 4 and Castrol VFRs when they aren't being used.
My other idea was to get another project in the shape of a CB400 Superfour or another CBR400R. I think I'm just bored and want something to do lol !!
