Well not today but yesterday I rode mine down to Beverly Hills to have lunch. Got back on the bike and it wouldn't even turn over. I bump start it a couple times take it around the block onto Beverly blvd then it dies. I'm running down the middle of Beverly blvd right next to Rodeo drive in the shopping section push starting my VFR looking like a foo
l I walk to some where where I can park it and get ready to call a cab. I decided to bump start it one more time and leave the choke on so the revs would stay up so there's plenty of electricity. That worked and I rode home. Now I gotta figure out what went wrong.

I was thinking that might be it but I thought I had a regulator from an R1... I got a spare I can swap out.vfrman wrote:Reg/Rec...and a dead battery.
As for the battery, I've been waiting for an excuse to finally spring for a light weight one from full spectrum.
Anyways that was enough for me to sign up for AAA.
