Hi guys,

As Hodge said, I can't justify £1900 for 2 wheels. Even for a track bike.

Delkevic does not sell rear RVF replica wheels anymore. Probably because some years ago, "used" wheels was cheaper than Delkevic ones... But it seems to be "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away"

Anyway there seems to be an important demand for those ones now. As £300++ wheels are "often" seen. Delk' new rear ali wheels was about £180, wich is more afortable for someone who's not looking for magnet wheels ;)

Does anyone knows if it's possible for Delkevic to re-produce them?
If yes, they may need a minimum batch size.

Cheers,
Romain

we have already looked into this
with some varied quality issues and the extra weight, it was difficult to negotiate without a returns process. so factoring in a 1 in 5 return made it untenable to be honest.
not something i would be willing to sink my heard earned into placing an order for a batch of 50 wheels only to have people who said yes - only to vanish into thin air and i be left with 30 odd wheels that weigh a ton.

Hi All:

It's been a while since I have posted. I have been going through a huge life-transition (an amazing one). I was finally able to get to work with OZ and help design a custom rear wheel for the RVF400R. The first (and probably only) order of 6 wheels is in with them, and we hope to see them in around 4~6 weeks. I have a few of these wheels still unspoken for at the moment, so if you are interested, please let me know. By ordering these in bulk, I am getting a slight discount. Private message me for pricing.

BTW: These are 5.5"x17" Forged Magnesium 6-spoke Cattiva R wheels. They weigh only 3.0kg (6.6lbs). They are Black. No other colors were offered. Black, only black, always black.

Hi Mike, just curious as to why you went for a 5.5" rim. I know they fit and a 160 tyre goes on them but its not the perfect rim size for a 160.

Are they to fit a stock axle?

OZ wouldn't make a 5.25", which was our preference. Also, we run 5.50" Dymags now and really like they way they work with the 160 & 165 (Slicks).

Yes, these wheels will fit both the stock axle (NC-30 & NC-35) as well as the Honda RS-250.

As they're only suited to track use it somewhat limits their appeal.

The 18x4 is worth bugger all in my opinion, I had one and ended up virtually giving it away - best suited to nc30/35 racers that use 150 18" road legal tyres on the track.

The front is probably worth more to rc30 owners and the like (circa USD$500 depending on demand and condition), and will fit myriad different bikes.

Thanks for the replys. I guy i know who owned west coast bikes in the uk and was one of the first to import bikes from japan and he said there rc30 wheels for sure as he had the same wheels. Japs used 18s even when 17s were out. They had wierd rules on different class races over there and used smaller wheels in the rain. There not the wheels you find on ebay as mine dont have size stamps on the back of the spokes. These are full on hrc wheels which is good. Emailed a guy in japan who has a front wheel and he emailed me back that the startin bid on his wheel is £570 uk money....made me feel good about my wheels anyway ha. The good thing is that someone doing up a nc30 could put them on there bike which is good to.
