Fantastic bike, more details on the front end conversion pls

And i thinks its about time the likes of you and micheal posted a LOT more pics and specs of your rides in the members rides section.
Seeing these bikes make me a proud NC owner :up:

Suddenly struck by inspiration, I started designing a new version of a one piece tank cover/airbox/seat unit. An old NC30 tank was butchered and filled with foam for a base. Now sanding of the foam, and merging it to the old seat unit is next, and then comes the lovely task of perfection of this plug for a new mould. Wonderful. Oh, how I've missed the styrene fumes :roll:

be interesting to see how much it weighs when its finished :grin: that tank is roughly same size as mine, mines half the weight of a standard one

How much many kg:s is your BMC race bike? Just curious...

dude that looks so cool, how long til you get bored of the fairing and make your own then?, the seat and tank look v moto 2, mabe you could call it the moto3 or 4 cos its a 400

Thanks mate! I hope I find something usable before I resort to making my own fairing, I really do! I have decided the 600rr fairing just won't do, a tad too big for the bike...so a set of NSR500V fairings are on their way to try out next. :pray:

im not sure on exact weight but its half the weight of a standard nc35 one and as far as i know that includes the cover as well

just been told its 2.2kg, thats with the cap and cover, so not too bad :peace:

I was thinking more of the entire bike, but 2.2kg for the fuel cell is good! I'll put mine on a scale just to compare.
