It's Daishin Racing brand from Japan, many of their mufflers are marked 'DIC'.
Very light aluminium systems.
Edit: Mark beat me to it.

it is just a generic 2 inch can - nothing special about it, not a lot to be said, but fo rme - I'd be spanked by a dutchman if I paid £140 on a can like that.
I'd get a second hand jap system for that money...or any 2 inch can that I fancied.

PoisonIvy are you looking for full/half system or just silencer on cut standard downpipes?

Sorry for late reply, didn't get notification!!
TBH I never wanted to cut the exhaust but I know the full system would be expensive so maybe just the end can unless anyone has suggestions to keep it as original as possible but with a raspier sound. I'm slowly getting into the idea of maybe making it look/sound better. I'm reluctantly selling my bmw dakar so it may fund something nice for the VFR!

I'm currently looking at an exhaust system for sale on Yahoo auctions jp, and I was wondering, if I wanted to buy something like that from there (not sure if I do yet), what would be best way to go about it, and how much would the costs (import charges etc) roughly be for an item of that size?
