Yup. Before I derestricted it, it once indicated 85. On a couple of occasions after doing so, I got the needle a fag paper past 100. At that point there was the best part of 11K on the tach and I was waiting for it to go bang... lol Also, it had been rebuilt with brand new genuine barrel and piston not very long before (it was run in by the book), and was pretty low miles at the time anyway.

To be honest, it probably meant I was doing more like 85-90 at absolute best. Falling off bits, I remember that. On one occasion I caught one of the mirrors as it made a bid for freedom, right before a nasty long hill. Not fun when you clutch hand is occupied! At the top of the same hill on one occasion, the gear lever pivot vibrated out, however as the bike has the original toolkit on it plus a few other bits, I was able to put it back on. Happy days, but scary riding the thing after my RVF!!

I remember what it was like when I moved from my TZR to my CBR, "so thats what suspension is", was my first thought.

When I got Volvo'd some years ago, I got the TZR back after it had been lent to a friend so his other half could learn on it (full instructions on how to restrict/derestrict as legally necessary were supplied), and I was amazed on how small, wobbly and slow it felt. It had always felt solid, fast and good handling. For the first few miles I was practically terrified of the thing and wondered how I'd managed to live after riding it so fast for so long when I last used it... lol

Going back to a tiny bike after a time on something more sturdy and with lots more power just adds to the fun. Don't forget your roots

To be fair they did cost that much when new so in theory its not an unreasonable price, however a UK spec type one NOS nosecone went for 350 a few weeks back, it did sell in less than an hour if i remember rightly though...

On the Bay it usually means they're out of stock. It doesn't cost to put the price up but it does to end a listing and start a new one

I have an RS125 or two in the shed and usually wouldn't say no to an extra set of panels, but when these lads contacted me to buy these last year I'm glad I passed on it

Ah, that'll be why I found a seller wanting £640 for a pair of Brembo front discs for the missus' Metro when others only want about £60-70 for Brembo discs and pads... lol I found pads for £350 as well.
