I didn't get the ones that you told me about - I contacted him but he said his latest batch were all reserved or allocated to people :(

I haven't said too much about the CDI in the thread, but I have one and the programming cable and its all ready to fit once the bike is back in one piece.
Therefore I'll have a genuine HRC derestrictor for sale at some point and also a oe cdi and a complete set of oe clocks - speedo, tacho and temp guage. ;)

I like the idea of being able to adjust the CDI stuff - and plugging my laptop into the bike - that should scare some people at trackdays!! :o Plus it looks like some kind of trick factory/race team thing - might have to get a Stobart Shirt and wear a set of head phones while I fiddle on the laptop!!!!!

m8 i think your bike will scare people enough with your ducati front end marchesini stickered wheels, wsbk tyle dash, adjustable levers and radial master cylinder, only thing mate....you know you want a quickshifter! ;)

o and if you really want to to wear a team shirt with headphones on a pit wall, you could always lend me your bike for racing next year! :o ;)

Just as a matter of interest, what's the deal with the HRC derestrictor? Does it do anything an M-Max one doesn't (apart from having HRC written on it...)?

No - exactly the same function.

NC30 HRC CDI are rarer than a straight politician...

This box is just a std top speed derestrictor

Hmmm......... a quickshifter hey? - theres an idea!!

Don't think I'll do it though - I want to use my new clutch lever properly!!

The HRC Derestrictor does do exactly the same as the M-max boxes or even the 10 pence resistor mod that some people do! But at the end of the day it does have HRC written on it so it must give atleast 10bhp more!! :D

nope don't think so - i don't like the thought of not using my feet!

I'm sure it has its benefits but not for me - plus I'm not a full on racer who might need to use it when cranked over at mega angles!!

Any other suggestions?! ;)

I have pictures that beg to differ! lol ;)

umm, lets start front he front

marchesini front wheel, 450 conversion, ram air, oil cooler, carbon fibre self supporting tail unit (in the classic shape of course), Isr radial rear brake

how about getting the engine blueprinted and ported by someone like RLR?

Well the front is a Marchesini!!! just i got them both sprayed the same colour and put new stickers on - the rear isn't one as far as I know they don't do them for VFR750's?

As for the ram air and 450 conversion - I still want to use it on the road not just for track days plus ram air will require mods to the fairing right?

I'm happy with my carbon fibre HRC style airtay too.

I would like to do some simple, basic engine mods but nothing that will reduce the reliability.
