Costing for the project;
Some may find this exercise unnecessary, boring and pointless.
Many purposely do not keep records;they have no wish to find out what their build expenses were.
It may be of relevance if an insurance claim or valuation is ever envisaged !

A few items of the above may be classed as spurious and extravagant;most were done to save time and money !

So if any economising could have been done,suggestions are welcomed.

As much as anything; this shows how money expended on a new project bought cheap very soon escalates into the price of a much newer,better equiped machine such as an early R6 for example.
This becomes even more relevant if the new owner does not have access to a workshop of sorts and a few, even basic, tools.
If a non runner is involved the sky becomes the limit.

Could one recoup the sum expended ?..........very doubtful.......which takes us back to the topic in the General section "New owners and bottomless pockets".
