I als got my hands dirty yesterday. A 600 head i'm using as a test piece:

Still needs some work, but ran outta dremel thingy's. The intake ports looked good, so don't think tha't i'll be porting those. Still need to re-lap te valves.
The head has been skimmed. 0.25mm been removes.
Problem is that by the time this engine has been put together so much will have been changed that i can't say how much difference the porting made.

to be honest guys i'm starting to whimp out of doing the porting myself and am considering sending them out to someone to do professionally,the vavle reseating i can do and have done but the porting ....na to much to fcuk up and i want the best for the heads and i don't think i could deliver that in my shed with a borrowed dremel.....
so who can anyone recommend and what is a general price for a set of nc30 heads ported ?

What does it cost overthere?
Here for a simpel "light" porting job will set up back about 700 euros, and for a complete job about 1200euros.
