I am also in the process of having my 89 refurbed. Have got hold of a lower right from another bike still looking for a lower left , and will wait till i have both before giving them to painter.
Can anyone help me with getting hold of the gold stripe and the appropriate curved blue decal?
Any reason why the straight decal cannot be used if the letters are cut and placed individually?

Replicas of the original curved honda decals are available, there was a thread not long ago about this. I have the guys details at home and will pm you all later. See zippys rvf thread for pictures of said decals on his panels.

isnt it this thread? a few pages back arsey30 got his friend to reproduce some from tracings made of the original...
