Yes - in my opinion they're equal - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130694223579? ... 1497.l2649

You probably won't get the crank lightened either ;)

I might pop over to yours then .... on my slow 400cc 400

You jammy bugger! £36 for the full set, when all the others on the bay are buy it now @ £110 plus!!

You're welcome to pop down and borrow the compressor, may even let you take it away... ;) While you're here, would there be any other tools you are short of?

Alex.

An engine stand - it's one of those things I'd like one day but have little use for it when it's not being used.

I only have the inlets to do so I recon an hour or so. I don't trust the valve stem seals though

I have an engine stand too, but it's currently got a 2 litre pinto stuck on it!

PM incoming.

Thanks to Alex lending me his valve compresser I've spent a blissful half hour installing the inlet valves.
Next job is to drop the cams on and sort out the valve tollerances.

I got another 3HE crank off the bay and sent it to BDK so they can machine the 4JH flywheel to fit. They needed a few dimensions - I'll sort out the drawing to show the Frankenseal and the crankcase boss positions. I'll give BDK a shout and see where they are with it.

I've also got some new brakelines for the Bimota which need fitting.

I managed to sort out the Valve tollerances ... but it seemed I kept getting it wrong. I needed to stop it all and then come back to it and do it all again. :?

If they are the same as the 3tj, then I should have a brace in the garage.
I'll have a look this evening.

As the damaged engine I have is in it's component parts, all of them  , any chance of a pic or link to parts pic of the offending nut?

Ta for the brackets. :plus:
