Looking good Jas. Looking forward to seeing a few rebuild pics of this bike.

Lovely garage your mate has, my fav is the little Seed in the corner!

Thanks Kris, I knew you were fav on the Seed colors! Are you going to build one in this scheme again?

Pics will follow. But rightnow I am fitting one set of forks back in the project bike and also put fresh brake fluid all around and bleeding brakes. Standard rear brake banjo bolt is now replaced with an HEL brake switch banjo bolt that is now fitted with a new correct Honda connector and fits nicely together with the WR battle step kit. Hope all the brake bleeding will be a simple job now as I now gonna use an el cheapo kit for the brake bleeding, which is pretty similar to this kit:

Okay, I am back from a week chill out and relax at Tenerife sun. Funny enough one of the best DJ's in the world (Armin van Buuren) sat in the same outbound and return flights as me and my girlfriend...although he earns heaps of money he still flies economy with his wife and child and queus like everybody else. Very down to earth 8-)

Today received some more parts, mostly genuine Honda parts, for the bikes. Still gathering parts before I start fitting it. Good thing (and also very expensive :( ) is that I now have the necessary new NC35 carburettor gaskets (thanks Rick O. ;) ) Also, received another small box from Honda Warehouse Gent with lots of screws, bolts, exhaust gaskets, tank rubbers, mirror rubbers, etc. etc. Next time is to get a pair of new mirrors, on the hunt for some alternatives.

Managed to reorganize all the small bits and pieces I have gathered in the past years. Did not know exactly what I had until last night as I brought some extra assortment boxes for this job. Now need a lettertag to tag all individual parts so it saves me searching next time and keep a small register

Just finished the first set of carbs, so right after the tea I will get going to get it on the bike and hopefully nothing leaks from underneath/near the float chambers anymore. Fingers crossed

Well happy that my bike started but as expected she did not run properly and calm due to the fact I have fitted my spare set of RVF carbs. Also, the spark plugs did not gave a bright spark anymore (although being as new, fitted them new last time before I moved to my new place end of 2010 :( ) so I treated her to new set of Iridium NGK's. Now she starts very good (one push on the button) Tommorrow it's carbs sync time.

Nothing major to the bike. Only that I finally found more info about Mr. Doohan's visit in 2003 and signed the hugh painted/airbrushed wall behind him that I bought coincidentally some time back... ;)

Still after the full story and more unseen pictures of Doohan's visit from the makers from that now closed shop.

Bike related: soon be finished the 2nd RVF, 2 more days to work and then 2 weeks off work. Finally! :peace:

This seems like the way to go. Keep us updated. I'd really like to hear how well your Ultrasonic cleaner works with these little carbs.

Bike looks great BTW.
