I'm sorry for saying this but I absolutely hate it,it`s like fitting a bonnet from a vw golf mk1 to a ford capri. No offence for the people that bought it but it looks good with the full tyga farings, but with the standard front end I would preffer to keep the huge nc30 seatbox,on a nc35 it might look a bit better.Quality i`m sure it`s bang on.and the price for the amount of work and money they spent is quite good too,but it could be better.

To be honest I'm still waiting to see it fitted properly and fully painted up, then I'll decide whether I like it or not.
You just cant tell if it looks good or not when its all mismatched! :peace:

CRM wrote:Lol Far from purist Gavin, but i will say, you look at Rileys with the mito setup, it retains a certain look of the NC yet just works, dont know why but i think thats a style kit for the NC what would sell bucket loads should it ever be mass produced and i would buy that. Tyga are always going to sell what they have as the kids and new owners will always want to spend thier money on tarting something up or trying to make it unique, it human nature. Personaly i think the CBR6 style tyga rear end looks shite on race or road, its about 6" too long and just sticks up pointing at the sky just like its been stuck on.
On the CBR6 it works, on the NC it looks odd. I am relectant to hack my tidy UK bike around so if that makes me a purist - then thats the way it is, i do however have another NC which i can do what i like to, i personaly just fail to get a woody over some aircraft carrier style rear end, but then like you say us purists are a bit Zzzzzz.
Where would you be if everyone was the same eh ? hoorah for choice. i personaly wish everyone would buy this stuff, then i could snap up all the remaining good conditon OE panels when they flog em to afford this stuff.
You took the words out my mouth. I think these bikes should be left alone but each to their own when you get a respray done I think we will get a better view.

It doesn't float my boat and I've been trying to figure out why. Maybe it's because the angle doesn't quite match the tank (probably comfy for a pillion though)? But I like the general styling of it.

Single seat all the way for me though 8-)

Yep, I actually rather like that!

I know the purists will go on about it not being right, sacrilege etc etc but everyones got a right to their opinion!
I still want to retain the option of taking friends and my kids out on the back, this allows me to do this whilst still updating the overall look of the bike!
As a plus side this is totally reversible, utilising the stock subframe so no hacking of panels or metalwork to be done!

Im not really a lover of this one, Looks ok with the rest of the TYGA kit if thats what floats your boat but why on earth would you want a passenger seat?? Dragging someone along on the back of a 600 is bad enough, must be towing a tug boat on a 400.
I know its been said before but i think TYGA would be better off investing their time in redesigning the headlights for their kits. This isnt a dig at TYGA, i have some of their standard shaped bodywork and its top quality, just not a big fan of the aircraft style look but done well they can look good, i remember a minolta rep that look very nice, and the RG500 powered TYGA kitted VFR in PB this month looks stunning, i can almost see past those headlights ;)
