Got the Castrol china plastics and the tyga carbon parts installed.

The result is good for a track bike.The tyga is really nice however the china is not perfect. Really the only biggie for me is the joint between the upper side fairing and the headpiece. This is a notoriously poor fitting part and will require some hard fastening to hold it tight. This is the nice thing about the tyga stock style fairing product as they eliminate that joint all together. For the price they are ok and probably durable.......quite thick and flexible. A clear coat run on the seat unit will have to be wet sanded out and a couple paint touch ups here and there. Nothing that I can't handle. Windscreen included is a very useful DB but it is so dark it might as well be painted black. This bike looks ace with a tyga light tint stock style screen. Pic shoes tyga tank front, ram air and front fender in carbon. Tank is also tyga stock style painted cover. Still have not installed the new wavy rotors and Tyga full system with Maggot.
Michelin power pure tires sitting ready too but wheels will be a winter project with new black powder coating.
Oh and also may be seen are some 20 dollar hong kong shortie levers........very well done and perfect fit.

In all I like the carbon tank front and ram air look. The Castol will be massaged out.
The tyga stock style fairings also recently received are gorgeous but will be kept as spares or until such a time that the racing rep plastics are ruined or just plain too much to look at.
Thought about the Rothmans scheme but the Castrol seemed a bit more understated and underused.

Looks fine to me quite a head turner for passing buy. You should be quite happy if you could think how much for panels and paint.

yes it will turn heads for sure. Again if one wanted perfect fit and finish the way to go would be to get the Painted NC35 kit from Tyga. A race rep could be pretty affordably done up with the Tyga unpainted NC35 kit, some paint, vinyl sponsor decals, and a shot of clearcoat.

All I can say is that these are veeeeeery high quality products. I ordered the painted (stock rvf rt) panels and the first impressions are stunning , fit is not known yet but I would bet my life that they are dead on based on quality.
Also ordered some carbon bits that fit in well....all without fault.

ps Will update with Tygas response to the problem issues as well with pics to show the good and bad. My impression is that the bad will be responded to quickly and with satisfaction.

I've liked tygas quality for other things but I was never sure on the panels. This comment has given me a good deal of confidence in them now also!

I've emailed the guy to ask about the paint codes used etc and as to whether he can supply the item with Red Honda logos on the nose and seat unit connector piece. It also appears the dark blue band across the nose cone is missing but I've noticed that there is another thread on here about the possiblity of someone knocking these up. Any advice appreciated.

I need to get a set of replacement fairings, my originals are completely gone so need something to dress the bike with. I am looking at motocc as a supplier, as these are going to be copies anyway is it worth replacing them to match the original paint scheme or getting one of the funky flame designs? I'm thinking of the resale potential either way, I haven't blinged it up with alloy crap or trick shite but have rejetted the carbs and will be doing the fork upgrade soon.

so, original pattern to hold value (but be fake panels) or get something cool/stylish?

I'd get something that mimics the original panels, otherwise when you come to sell them/the bike you'll have to try to pull some of those classic Ebay phrases like "ONE-OFF PAINT JOB SHE IS A REAL LOOKER AND NO MISTAKE!!!!!"

Incidentally, Practical Sportsbikes reviewed some this month and pretty much re-iterated everything we already know about them.
