Those bikes are Bosozoku:

They are violent illegal gangs of youths, who ride through towns late at night revving their engines. They are basically recruitment clubs for the Yakuza.

These are referenced in the anime Akira. They really do ride through the streets fighting.

There used to be hundreds of thousands of members, but the police massively cracked down on it, it is now almost finished.

Laws against these groups include a ban on riding with pillion passengers on the central Tokyo toll roads.

Hands up who else only knows who/what the Yakuza are because they watched Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift :grin:

supply and demand dear fellow. if someone has destroys theirs then considering you cant buy a new one this is the next best thing at 3x cheaper.
