Das Nurburgring

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

risked it, and am still here to tell the tale. screetching tyres and drifting from the beast that is 54 plate focus TDCI 100PS.
mucho entertainment and finger pointing from the crowd if the girlfriend is also reading a michelin map of germany for all to see and pointing at things while i am screetching round corners

LOL - brilliant mate. So you have the knowledge" in the focus to give us the guided session when D Day proper rolls around?

I cannot wait...7 more working days and then shoot up some caffeine and drive the van all night time!

I'll be doing a wer-lap even if it rains when we are there. I'm not going all that way to have my weekend spoiled wiith a bit of rain. Sure look at what we rode in last year...

i took the liberty of buying a 4.5 lap ticket while there, and smoked the focus round on it using the half lap. leave me 4 times to play.
when i was there it was wet and deserted. great for a slow diesel car.
One word of warning all, fill up with fuel in folkstone, and get to belgium to fill up again where its cheaper.
Over the last 2 years britain has always been roughly between 10 and 20% more expensive in fuel than europe - well not anymore peeps, its as if britains fuel price has been kept artificialy low recently and fuel in europe is now as expensive or dearer. . . . .
Germany i was paying around 1.48 euros per litre of diesel which is cheaper than petrol.
belgium was around 1.32 per litre
so makes sence to juice up in the cheaper UK

just my 2p (was it worth 2p) :D

I have a new tyre to fit next Thursday as the one on the bike presently is OK, but it'd not make the trip so a new Diablo Corsa III will be going on.

Not long now boys (and girl)

I did read about that. Not good news. Paul and me have actually been PMing eachother back and forth. I'm not out to set lap-times, I'm there to enjoy myself and come home in 1 piece.
